BEFORE YOU HIT HER...

A guy I know had a heated misunderstanding with a lady and it was reported that the lady slapped him and as a result he beat up the lady – to cut the story short he lost his job because everybody kept saying he beat a woman.

I now asked a friend what she would do if the man was her husband and she was there when the lady slapped him. She was so angry and demonstrated how she was going to deal with the lady for daring to slap her husband. If she felt like this, imagine what the guy felt before he resulted to retaliating. He is a man he is not supposed to feel hurt I guess.
Most mother in-laws or sister in-laws would not see anything wrong in their son/brother slapping his disrespectful or a wild wife, they think she should be thought a lesson.
Most of the times, the reason why many ladies or wives stay on in an abusive relationship or marriage is because they feel they are the ones who caused the man to beat them by their actions or in-actions.
Hmmm, but are their truly actions/in-actions that would warrant a man to beat up his wife?
The list I have seen these days are so numerous;
An infidel woman, who blatantly shows it to the man.
A woman, taunting her husband, who suddenly could not provide for the family like before, due to economic situation.
There are women described as ‘pami nku sori benbe soko’, any disagreement, they keep talking/nagging, holding the man and shouting or probably be the first to punch. Always spoiling for a fight!
These and many more are the annoying things a woman can do to want to sniff out life from a man before a fight will now ensue. Who is usually the victim – the woman, because even if what you are trying to do is in self defence against a possible violent attack, you will be wrong.
The reality is that we have men who are wolfs in sheep clothing or brazing wolfs who take out their frustrations on the weak and take pleasure in seeing others in pain, but my message is to you who have sworn never to hit her, but you are now ‘unlucky’ to have such a wife that is always pushing for it…

Before you hit her, pray.
Before you hit her, seek counsel.
Before you hit her, remember your promise to protect her.
Before you hit her, remember your children.
Before you hit her, take a walk out of the house.
Before you hit her, RUN!!!

I don’t believe in divorce, but I believe in separating people fighting first so that you can have a chance to resolve the conflict. STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!
